Dubai, November 17, 2022:
The success and overwhelming participation in the 4th AccessAbilities Expo are affirmation that the UAE is committed to follow a sustainable strategy for inclusion of people of determination into our society and channel their abilities for the growth of the economy, said His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, President of Dubai Civil Aviation Authority, Chairman of Dubai Airports and Chairman and Chief Executive of Emirates Airline and Group.
The fourth edition of AccessAbilities Expo and the third Dubai Accessible Travel Tourism International Summit (DATTIS) successfully concluded at Dubai World Trade Centre with a call to effectively enhance inclusion of persons of determination and make the UAE more friendly for them. The three-day expo and summit received overwhelming response from government organisations, non-government organisations (NGOs), companies and general public.
His Highness Sheikh Ahmed said: “It is heartening to note that the international organisations and experts who participated in the Expo have recommended that the world should follow the UAE model in formulating a comprehensive inclusion strategy that helped the UAE achieve the distinction of being the world’s best tourism destination for people of determination”.

أكد سمو الشيخ أحمد بن سعيد آل مكتوم رئيس هيئة دبي للطيران المدني، رئيس مؤسسة مطارات دبي، الرئيس الأعلى الرئيس التنفيذي لطيران الامارات والمجموعة، أن النجاح والمشاركة الهائلة في أعمال الدورة الرابعة لمعرض اكسبو أصحاب الهمم الدولي يؤكدان التزام دولة الإمارات العربية المتحدة باتباع استراتيجية مستدامة لإدماج أصحاب الهمم في مجتمعنا وتوجيه قدراتهم لنمو الاقتصاد.
واختتمت أعمال الدورة الرابعة لمعرض اكسبو أصحاب الهمم الدولي والدورة الثالثة لقمة دبي الدولية الثالثة لتسهيل سياحة أصحاب الهمم بنجاح في مركز دبي التجاري العالمي بالدعوة إلى تعزيز إدماج أصحاب الهمم بشكل فعال، وجعل دولة الإمارات العربية المتحدة أكثر صداقة لهم. وقد لاقت القمة والمعرض الذي استمر لثلاثة أيام استجابة كبيرة من المنظمات الحكومية والمنظمات غير الحكومية والشركات والجمهور العام.
وقال سموه: “من المشجع أن نلاحظ أن المنظمات الدولية والخبراء الذين شاركوا في المعرض قد أوصوا بضرورة اتباع العالم لنموذج دولة الإمارات العربية المتحدة لجهة صياغة استراتيجية شاملة للإدماج، حيث كان من شأن هذه الاستراتيجية أن ساعدت دولة الإمارات على تحقيق التميّز بوصفها أفضل وجهة سياحية في العالم لأصحاب الهمم”.
His Highness added: “Let us all work together; both private sector and public sector, to sustain this achievement and remain the leader in all activities to make the UAE the best and friendliest place to work and live for one and all, in particular for the people of determination.”
“The Expo this year is an overwhelming success as there is 20% increase in the number of exhibitors and 15% increase in the number of visitors besides showcasing an array of new advanced innovative products to ease the life of people of determination,” said Mr Ghassan Suleiman Ahmaz, Managing Director of the Exhibition and Managing Director of Nadd Al Shiba PR & Event Management, the organizer of AccessAbilities Expo.
As many as 250 international companies and centres specializing in the rehabilitation of People with Disabilities from 50 countries across the world showcased advanced technologies that facilitate the lives and mobility of people of determination at the Expo. More than 10,000 people visited the Expo.
The Strategic Partners were Ministry of Community Development, Dubai Police, RTA, Dubai Municipality, Dubai Health Authority, Community Development Authority, Dubai Corporation for Ambulance Services, Dubai Customs, SANAD, Dubai Club for People of Determination and Zayed Higher Organization for People of Determination.
Clemenceau Medical Center Hospital, Dubai was Healthcare Partner and Du Telecom was Telecom Partner.
وأضاف سموه: “دعونا جميعاً نعمل معاً في كلا القطاعين الخاص والعام، للحفاظ على هذا الإنجاز والبقاء في الصدارة في جميع الأنشطة لجعل دولة الإمارات العربية المتحدة أفضل وأصدق مكان للعمل والعيش بالنسبة للجميع، ولا سيما بالنسبة لأصحاب الهمم”.
وقال غسان سليمان أمهز، المدير العام للمعرض والمدير العام لشركة ند الشبا للعلاقات العامة وتنظيم المعارض، الشركة المنظمة لمعرض اكسبو أصحاب الهمم الدولي: “لقد حقق المعرض هذا العام نجاحاً باهراً، حيث توجد زيادة بنسبة 20٪ في عدد العارضين وزيادة بنسبة 15٪ في عدد الزوار، وذلك إلى جانب عرض مجموعة من المنتجات المبتكرة الجديدة والمتطورة لتسهيل حياة أصحاب الهمم”.
وقد قام ما يصل إلى 250 شركة ومركز دولي متخصص في إعادة تأهيل الأشخاص ذوي الإعاقة من 50 دولة من كافة أنحاء العالم بعرض تقنيات متطورة من شأنها تسهيل حياة وتنقل أصحاب الهمم، في حين زار المعرض أكثر من 10,000 شخص.
واشتمل الشركاء الاستراتيجيون على كل من وزارة تنمية المجتمع، وشرطة دبي، وهيئة الطرق والمواصلات، وبلدية دبي، وهيئة الصحة بدبي، وهيئة تنمية المجتمع، ومؤسسة دبي لخدمات الإسعاف، وجمارك دبي، ومؤسسة سند، ونادي دبي لأصحاب الهمم، ومؤسسة زايد العليا لأصحاب الهمم، في حين كان مستشفى مركز كليمنصو الطبي – دبي شريكاً للرعاية الصحية، وكانت شركة دو تيليكوم شريكاً للاتصالات.

The UAE has emerged as the world’s most friendly tourism destination for people with disabilities with the government, organisations, airports, hotels, shopping malls, hospitals and public places transformed their facilities for full inclusion.
Companies and organisations are taking keen interest in developing smart solutions and the latest technologies to provide a better life for persons of determination.
Addressing the DATTIS, HE Issam Kazim, CEO of Dubai Corporation for Tourism and Commerce Marketing (DCTCM) said Dubai has revised upwards its tourism target to 25 million tourists by 2025 encouraged by the fastest recovery from the pandemic and surge in tourism arrivals.
He said: “The vision of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum is to ensure that Dubai becomes the number one destination for all and the number one city and destination for people of determination as well.

وكانت دولة الإمارات العربية المتحدة قد برزت كالوجهة السياحية الأكثر صداقة في العالم للأشخاص ذوي الإعاقة، مع قيام الحكومة والمنظمات والمطارات والفنادق ومراكز التسوق والمستشفيات والأماكن العامة بتحويل مرافقها من أجل الوصول إلى الإدماج الكامل، فيما تحرص الشركات والمؤسسات حرصاً شديداً على تطوير الحلول الذكية وأحدث التقنيات لتوفير حياة أفضل لأصحاب الهمم.
وقال سعادة عصام كاظم، المدير التنفيذي لمؤسسة دبي للتسويق السياحي والتجاري، مخاطباً قمة دبي الدولية لتسهيل سياحة أصحاب الهمم، إن دبي قامت بتعديل هدفها السياحي وزيادته ليصل إلى 25 مليون سائح بحلول العام 2025، وذلك بفضل التعافي الأسرع من الوباء والزيادة الكبيرة في عديد السياح الوافدين.
وقال: “تتمثل رؤية صاحب السمو الشيخ محمد بن راشد آل مكتوم في ضمان أن تصبح دبي الوجهة الأولى للجميع، والمدينة والوجهة الأولى عالمياً لأصحاب الهمم أيضاً.
Ghassan Suleiman Amhaz said: “Technology makes the world easier and contributes to removing many obstacles for people of determination. We could showcase more than 4,500 technologies designed for people with motor, visual, hearing, intellectual disabilities and autism spectrum. The Expo was an ideal international platform to showcase the most advanced technologies under one roof.”

UAE-based Aliriza Group has displayed the world’s first emotionally intelligent robot named Riza (Robotic Interactive Smart Assistant) at the Dubai Health Authority pavilion.

This AccessAbilities Expo is a reiteration of this commitment.”
The 3rd Dubai Accessible Travel & Tourism International Summit (DATTIS) has come out with 59 key recommendations to deal with the main challenges faced by People of Determination or People with Disabilities (PwDs) in the areas of mobility, hospitality and travel worldwide.
The People of Determination, who participated in the Summit, called on international organisations, government bodies and public and private sectors to enact laws and regulations to remove barriers to enable more than one billion People of Determination – according to the statistics of the World Health Organization – to enjoy their rights to travel, move easily and enjoy their lives as one of their acquired rights according to relevant international laws.

وقال غسان سليمان أمهز: “التكنولوجيا تجعل العالم أسهل وتسهم في إزالة العديد من العقبات التي تعترض أصحاب الهمم، وقد تمكنا من عرض أكثر من 4,500 تقنية مصممة للأشخاص ذوي الإعاقات الحركية، أو البصرية، أو السمعية، أو الفكرية، أو ذات الصلة بمرض التوحد، حيث شكل المعرض منصة دولية مثالية لعرض أحدث التقنيات تحت سقف واحد”.
وقال عبد الفتاح شرف، الرئيس التنفيذي لبنك اتش اس بي سي الإمارات العربية المتحدة، ورئيس الخدمات الدولية لبنك اتش اس بي سي الشرق الأوسط المحدود المسؤولية: “إن التحول الرقمي على نطاق واسع وتنشيط النمو من خلال تسهيل التعامل معنا، يشكلان ركيزتين أساسيتين لاستراتيجية اتش اس بي سي العالمية، ونحن نعمل كذلك على تحقيق هذه الأهداف في دولة الإمارات العربية المتحدة من خلال الابتكار، لضمان أن تكون جميع قنواتنا الرقمية في متناول أكبر عدد ممكن من الجمهور، بغض النظر عن القدرة”.
وعرضت مجموعة علي رضا التي تتخذ من الإمارات العربية المتحدة مقراً لها، أول روبوت ذكي عاطفياً في العالم يُدعى “ريزا” (المساعد الذكي الروبوتي التفاعلي)، وذلك في جناح هيئة صحة دبي.
وقالت الدكتورة رولا حمود، رئيس قسم التسويق في مركز كليمنصو الطبي – دبي: “تماشياً مع رؤية حكومة دولة الإمارات العربية المتحدة الرامية لجعل الإمارات أفضل دولة للأشخاص ذوي الإعاقة، ومن أجل الاستجابة لاحتياجاتهم الطبية، فإننا ملتزمون بتوفير رعاية سريعة وفعالة وكافية، وما معرض اكسبو أصحاب الهمم الدولي إلا إعادة تأكيد على هذا الالتزام”.
وقال معالي محمد إبراهيم الشيباني، رئيس مجلس إدارة شركة “نخيل”: “نحن فخورون لدعمنا معرض اكسبو أصحاب الهمم الدولي 2022، والذي يركز على مجتمع شامل للجميع. نحن ملتزمون بالمشاركة والتعاون وتبادل الخبرات مع نظرائنا الدوليين في المعرض، وذلك لتعزيز حياة أصحاب الهمم وأسرهم وتمكينهم للعيش من دون أي عوائق”.
إلى ذلك، خرجت أعمال الدورة الثالثة لقمة دبي الدولية لتسهيل سياحة أصحاب الهمم بما وصل إلى 59 توصية رئيسية للتعامل مع التحديات الرئيسية التي تواجه أصحاب الهمم أو الأشخاص ذوي الإعاقة في مجالات التنقل والضيافة والسفر في جميع أنحاء العالم.
وطالب أصحاب الهمم، الذين شاركوا في القمة، المنظمات الدولية والهيئات الحكومية والقطاعين العام والخاص بسن قوانين وأنظمة لإزالة العوائق، وتمكين أكثر من مليار من أصحاب الهمم – بحسب إحصائيات منظمة الصحة العالمية. – من التمتع بحقوقهم في السفر والتنقل بسهولة والاستمتاع بحياتهم بوصف ذلك أحد الحقوق المكتسبة وفقاً للقوانين الدولية ذات الصلة.
